How do I create an event on Keevent?
To create an event, sign up or log in to your account, then click 'Create an event'. Fill in the basic information (title, description, dates, location), add an attractive image, configure your ticket categories with their prices, and publish your event. You can also add features like voting or donations.
What payment methods are available?
Keevent supports several payment methods depending on your country: Bank cards via Stripe (international), Orange Money, MTN Mobile Money, Djomy and InTouch for West Africa, and CinetPay for other African countries. All payments are 100% secure.
How do I buy tickets?
Browse our events, select the one that interests you, choose the type and number of tickets you want, then proceed with secure payment. Your tickets with unique QR codes will be automatically sent to you by email and will be available in your personal space.
How does ticket scanning work?
Each ticket has a unique and secure QR code in K1 format. Event organizers and managers can scan these QR codes via the Keevent mobile app to validate entry. Scanning can be done online or offline with automatic synchronization. Each ticket can only be scanned once to prevent fraud.
Where can I find my tickets?
Your tickets are automatically sent by email after a successful payment. You can also find them at any time in your personal space, in the 'My tickets' section. Each ticket displays its QR code that you can present at the event entrance.
What is the referral system?
Keevent has a referral system that allows you to invite your friends. Each user has a unique referral code. During registration, your friends can use your code to identify you as their referrer. This action is permanent and cannot be changed. Use it to grow the Keevent community!
What types of events can I create?
Keevent supports all types of events: Concerts, Festivals, Conferences, Sports events, Art & Culture, Gastronomy, Corporate events, Seminars, Webinars, Workshops, Exhibitions, Charity events, and much more. You can also create free or paid events.
Can I modify my event after creation?
Yes, you can modify your event information from your organizer space at any time: title, description, image, dates, ticket categories, etc. Changes are taken into account immediately.
How do I add managers to my event?
As an organizer, you can add managers (co-organizers) who can help you manage the event, especially scanning tickets at the entrance. Add them from your event management page.
Are payments secure?
Absolutely! All payments are processed by certified and secure payment providers (Stripe, Orange Money, Djomy, InTouch, etc.). Keevent does not store any banking data. All transactions are encrypted and protected.
Does Keevent take a commission?
Yes, Keevent charges a small commission on each ticket sale to cover platform, payment and maintenance fees. The percentage varies by country and currency. Exact details are displayed when creating your event.
Can I cancel my ticket order?
Cancellation and refund conditions depend on each organizer's policy. Check the specific conditions of the event before purchasing. For any request, contact the organizer directly via the event page.
What should I do if I lost my ticket?
Don't panic! Simply log in to your Keevent account and go to the 'My tickets' section where you will find all your tickets with their QR codes. You can also check your email to find the ticket sent during purchase.
How do votes work on events?
Some events offer a voting system to elect nominees in different categories. You can vote online by paying the voting price set by the organizer. Votes may be limited to one per IP address depending on the organizer's configuration.
Can I make donations for an event?
Yes! Some events, especially charity events, accept donations. You can contribute by choosing the amount of your donation. The organizer can set a collection goal and choose whether donations are public or private.
How do I contact an organizer?
You can contact the organizer directly via the event page where their contact information is displayed. For any specific question about an event, feel free to contact them.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion of your account from your profile settings or by contacting us at contact@keevent.com. Note that this action is irreversible and will delete all your data.
Is the mobile app available?
Yes! The Keevent mobile app is available for iOS and Android. It allows you to browse events, buy tickets, access your tickets offline, and for organizers, scan tickets even without internet connection with automatic synchronization.
